Welcome to Core Pilates

Pilates' popularity has continued to grow and grow and many people from all walks of life, young and old have experienced the benefits from attending regular classes. Core Pilates classes offer a blend of Pilates exercise and core training, resulting in a flexible, strong and coordinated body.

Pilates is a body conditioning method that consists of slow, flowing, precise movement, promoting correct breathing patterns whilst exercising. Core training focuses on abdominal muscles, improving their strength and control whilst carrying out core activating exercises.

This blend of exercise re-balances the body, increasing its strength and flexibility and bringing it into correct postural alignment. It improves body awareness and promotes the release of tension whilst you exercise.

If you require a personalised exercise programme, one to one and two to one sessions are available at the Toll House Clinic, Chipping Sodbury and the Hands On Health Treatments, Keynsham. These sessions are suitable if you have back problems, recovering from injury or would just like to improve your general body condition.
