Marie-France – Community Hall Pilates

Just a quick message to let you know how much I enjoyed this morning’s session. I really felt great afterwards although I still need to work on my balance skills. Thanks for being such a fantastic motivator.

Kit and Amanda – Community Hall Pilates

Kit & I both really enjoy your classes . We both have jobs where we are standing on our feet all day so we find the classes help us with movement & having more flexibility. You always make us feel so welcome in the class . Your instructions are clear & easy to understand . If we are doing something not quite right, it is reassuring to know that that you come & correct us . As we both like to learn the moves correctly to get the maximum benefit. We would thoroughly recommend the classes to anyone . Kit enjoys the mixed classes as he knows he isn’t the only man. We chat on the way home saying to each other who found what was easy & different in the class that evening . It is as so nice to do something as a couple. Thank you Sue for such thoughtful & fabulous classes.

Angie – Community Hall Pilates

I can highly recommend Sue’s classes. I have been going to her classes for years and find it has really helped my well being, health, flexibility and my balance to name a few reasons for going. Plus such friendly classes and Sue is the best teacher I know.

Wendy – Community Hall Pilates

Your Pilates classes are energising, relaxing and extremely enjoyable. We are lovely group, we have great fun, and finish the sessions feeling rejuvenated, supple, and with awareness of posture and movement.

Laurel – Community Hall Pilates

Love going to Pilates classes on a Thursday! Lovely group of ladies and I leave feeling that parts of my body that don’t normally get exercised/stretched etc have been !

Feel it does me lots of good ! .. mind and body 😊

Sue is an exceptional teacher ! !

Gail – Community Hall Pilates

Since doing Pilates I’ve not suffered from back ache. I used to struggle washing up because my back would ache before I’d finished.

Also, it has definitely helped my frozen shoulder repair. I have so much more movement through regular exercising of the shoulders.

Thank you Sue.

Jenny – Community Hall Pilates

Always sceptical about Pilates but it is doing so much for me. Posture better ,backache improved ,noticeable benefit when long distance walking. All in all an absolute joy!! Lovely class, nice people. Thank you.

Gill – Online Pilates

Online classes work better for me with my somewhat chaotic life and I can fit in two to three session a week. The lessons are so wonderfully clear and helpful too.

Sue – Online Body Con

Definitely one of those days when the less you feel like doing the class the better you feel afterwards. Thanks Sue!

Wendy – Online Classes

Really loved the class this morning, so pleased I did it and the difference between starting and finishing is amazing. Felt a bit stiff earlier but now completely stretched and supple, thank you so much.

Marcus

The online classes give me the flexibility of fitting into my lifestyle whilst also giving both a physical and mental workout. Sue’s enthusiasm never fails to shine through and the classes are the most rewarding money I ever spend.

Julie

A fun and challenging way to stay fit, with the ‘On Demand platform’ enabling me to fit into my daily routine.

Jayne

Your Mind Body Calm class helps a lot. It makes me aware of my body and gets my muscles moving in a soft controlled motion. I feel totally relaxed after doing the class and reminds me how I need time for me.

Fiona

The Online classes were a major positive in the emptiness of lockdown. Helped me keep strong both mentally and physically.

Julie

Sue, I’ve just completed my first ever sit up! I have never managed this move before today.

So, thank you for your fun, motivational but definitely hard working Body Conditioning and Pilates classes on the On Demand Studio. This platform works for me, both physically and mentally.

Nickie

Hey Sue. My goodness that felt so good. I can’t tell you how stiff I am these days so this was gentle enough to manage whilst still feeling like I was giving my body a good stretch and a workout. Thank you so much!

Bridget

What I enjoy the most is you don’t follow the same format. The classes are always interesting and different and over a period of time when I look back you have covered different parts of the body and utilised different ’toys’ making it varied. In the past I always had difficulty committing to regular classes, but not with you, which for me is a testament to your excellent teaching. I think you take into account our different ages and always give us different levels or positions to recognise age related conditions. Doing Pilates with you has made me feel better, more supple and stronger and I hope to continue as long as I am able. I enjoy the stretching and mobilising of the body and I respond well to that. I think it’s important as we get older to keep our range of movement as good as possible.

Carolyn

Having attended Sue’s Pilates and Body Con classes for a few years now I recommend her very highly. The classes are always fresh and reach all the right parts. She’s is so attentive to each individual’s needs and suggests alternatives if a certain exercise is not suitable for you. I’ve had back issues for some time and her classes have really helped. The classes are all online via FB at the moment (plus some new ones)and the transition has been seamless and so appreciated during these difficult times. Well done Sue and thanks for all the time and effort you put in to each class.

Wendy

I attend Sue’s Pilates and Body Con classes each week as they complement each other to keep you strong and supple. During the lockdown period Sue is now delivering these classes and more via FB!! It’s great that we can now join in a live session from the comfort of our own home and chat with our friends from pre-lockdown classes. The class content changes weekly, and once posted, we can re-visit them as often as we like. I really enjoy doing the Pilates session several times a week, as well as the Rest and Relaxation on Thursday evenings. You’ll keep finding little nuggets that Sue posts to keep us on our toes!! Maybe just a 10 min session to get those abs going or just to have a good stretch. There’s something for everyone at all levels to enjoy. Absolutely thoroughly recommended!

Marcus

I am writing this as a complete Pilates newcomer. After hitting 50 and realising my body was stiffening up (not in a good way!) I decided I needed to do something about it. Sue was recommended to me as a Pilates instructor and I joined her class in Westerleigh to give it a go. The class was very welcoming, relaxing and therapeutic, an oasis of calm for an hour a week. Sue is excellent as an instructor and is extremely patient, even with someone like me who has the coordination of a tasered orangutan, and I would happily recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their flexibility, core strength and mental well being. I have now signed up for the second term, what higher endorsement can I give?

Rob – Pilates at Home

After badly injuring my back in the gym I was introduced to Pilates via one-to-one sessions with Sue, following a couple of months of intensive Physio. It complemented the Physio treatment really well and started to build strength in parts of my core that I’d never developed properly in the gym. Sue’s knowledge and personalised / tailored approach quickly enabled me to grasp the basic exercises and techniques of Pilates and I quickly saw a definite reduction in my back pain and improvement in my overall core strength and general posture. There’s a number of exercises and ideas that I’ve since incorporated into my gym workouts that help me to continually improve my overall fitness.

Nancy, Sally and Rita

As we’ve been coming to Pilates for some years we find that it’s a happy environment & also very relaxed. We’ve learnt a lot. Sue lets us work to our ability. The class is small enough for us to be taught almost individually. We thoroughly enjoy Tuesdays.

Wendy

The Pilates classes are for all ages (young to more senior adults) and suitable for all abilities. They are great fun and vary in content each week. Sue puts good technique at the top of her list, keeping us all safe and happy.

Christine

I started doing Pilates as I approached my sixtieth birthday in 2007. More than six years later, I am still attending fortnightly sessions at the Tollhouse Clinic with their instructor, Sue Webb. Sue is an excellent teacher and has been instrumental in keeping me motivated. She keeps the classes fresh with a varied routine and gently coaxes you to achieve that little more each time without ever forcing the pace. Pilates has definitely helped me, as I get older, to maintain flexibility and muscle strength but I would recommend it as a form of exercise for men and woman of any age. The sooner you start, the better.

Pam

After doing some one to one Pilates sessions with Sue, I joined a class at Westerleigh. It’s just what I need – working on my core strength is good for my back problems. The exercises are varied and I know that Sue will help me if I’m not doing it right!

Bex

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to you Sue. Because of the changes I have experienced through your pilates classes I was able to play in the pool and on the beach with my children on holiday last week. My hip is so much stronger and my weight coming under control thanks to your teaching, support and encouragement. Thanks so much, my family certainly appreciate the change too.
